A Celebration of Diversity, Bold Florals, and Real Community on Film

This Editorial Was Built With Intention
This marks our fifth editorial production, and while we’ve grown confident in bringing creative visions to life, what continues to matter most is the community behind them. The team. The intention.
Every editorial we lead prioritizes diversity in front of the camera. But in the past three, we’ve become just as intentional about who’s behind it. That shift has been meaningful. For this shoot, we were proud to collaborate with a deeply talented and diverse group of individuals many of whom have long been underrepresented in this industry.

In a time when so many communities are being targeted simply for existing, we believe every project is an opportunity to do things differently. While some work to erase and divide, we’re choosing to build spaces that welcome, reflect, and affirm.
This is how we show up. Not with performance, but with action. With care. With intention.

Rooted in Relationships
This shoot wasn’t about trends. It was about truth. As a queer and BIPOC-owned wedding photo and film studio, we set out to create an editorial that felt real. Joyful. Intentional. Built with and for people we love.
The couples featured weren’t models. They were part of our lives. Adam and Bryce are real clients of ours, getting married this November. Connie and John are longtime friends who anchored the day with heart, then gathered a vibrant circle of friends who helped bring this creative vision to life. Every person in the room was chosen with care, and that energy radiated through the images.

A Studio Wedding Vision, Powered by Flowers
Set in a clean, light-filled Boston studio, this shoot leaned into saturated color, graphic lines, and flowers that felt more like sculpture than decor. Rumphius Farms (@rumphiusfarms) brought unmatched floral brilliance to the table. Her work redefined the space, pushing our creative boundaries in all the right ways. Growth looks good in color. To see more of our work together check out this Cape Cod Micro Wedding and also their Branding Session on film.

This was a team effort in every sense. Our producers from @itsgivinggoldenhour came in with curiosity, clarity, and care bringing support that made the day seamless. And behind the lens, our assistants, videographers, and content creators moved with quiet precision and deep intention. That kind of behind-the-scenes magic makes all the difference.

Documented on Film
We shoot almost exclusively on film, but once in a while, a digital backup photo is just too good not to include. So while the vast majority of this gallery is 35mm and medium format, you may spot a few digital moments that felt too beautiful to leave out.
Studio lighting can be tricky with analog, but these stories deserved that kind of intentional process. For us, film wedding photography is never just about the look. It’s about slowing down, honoring each moment, and creating images that feel tangible and timeless.
