When I first met Javi, he was actually creating and filming music videos with Super 8 film, and we spent a lot of time in the darkroom hand processing the film. It was during this time that we fell in love with the unique beauty and warmth of Super 8.
It was only fitting that our love was captured on Super 8. Javi and I took turns with our handy dandy Super 8 camera and filmed each other. When needed, we asked one of the members in our wedding party to man the camera for the moments when we needed an extra set of hands haha!
Now we are thrilled to be able to offer that same unique experience to our couples. We as filmmakers are dedicated to bringing your wedding memories to life in a way that's both nostalgic and modern, using the vintage charm of Motion Picture film to create a one-of-a-kind visual experience.

Does Super 8 or 16mm have sound?
No. While later versions of the Super 8 &16mm film formats did include a magnetic or optical sound recording system. The sound quality was often poor due to technical limitations of the format, and the sound recording feature was eventually discontinued.

Do you hand-process your film?
No, we don't hand process film ourselves. Instead, we work with a professional film lab to ensure that your film is well taken care of and processed.
We send our film out to Kodak Labs in New York, where it is processed and scanned by a team of experts. The lab uses a careful and precise process to develop your film, ensuring that it is treated with the utmost care and attention.
Once the film has been processed, it is scanned using state-of-the-art equipment that produces high-quality digital files that can be easily edited and shared.
By working with a professional film lab, we can ensure that your film is processed to the highest standards, resulting in beautiful and vibrant images that will stand the test of time.
Is that an Instagram filter?
No :) We believe that there's nothing quite like the beauty and authenticity of actual film. Unlike digital filters, motion picture film captures your special day in a way that is truly unique.
We let the natural colors and textures of the film shine through, resulting in images that are rich, vibrant, and full of character.
Of course, we do perform some basic color correction to ensure that your film looks its best. But beyond that, we let the film speak for itself, allowing you to relive your special day in a way that's authentic and true to life.
