Javi and I had such a fun time with Morgan and Glenn during their North End Boston engagement photos! We spent three and a half hours together, wandering through North End and Downtown Boston having the best time together. Javi and I proposed a long session so they would really get super comfortable with us and get to know us some more. I’m really glad we did because we just had such a wonderful time! When Javi and I talk about dream clients, Morgan and Glenn are it! They’re having a micro wedding in September at the cutest restaurant, The Lexington, in Cambridge which we’re already looking forward to.

How They Met

Morgan and Glenn first met by swiping right on each other on Hinge! On their first date, they met up in Charlestown by the water and walked along the piers. Their date continued when they walked to Blackmoor to share a pretzel and beers on the patio. Glenn was a true gentleman and walked Morgan home after the date and then biked back to his apartment in Everett. They both had super positive first impressions of each other from that very first interaction! Morgan loved how charming and smart Glenn was, and she enjoyed his sense of humor. Glenn found Morgan beautiful and sweet, and he loved how she kept up a great conversation. It’s safe to say they knew there was chemistry between them from the start!

Their North End Boston Engagement Photos

We got to see these sides of Morgan and Glenn during their North End Boston engagement photo session. They’re truly perfect for each other! Glenn is a such goofball and Morgan is totally grounded. We love them!

We enjoyed our time exploring North End super early in the morning. Originally, we were going to do sunrise, but it ended up being cloudy so we shifted to a 7 o’clock in the morning start time. These two LOVE film so we shot a whole lot of it for them! We shot at least 4 rolls on Ektachrome for color and T-Max for black and white.

We really envisioned a rooftop session for them and I found a rooftop that everyone shoots at in Boston. While the views are stunning, we wouldn’t recommend photographing there. Even though we called in advance and got permission to have the session up there, security still kicked us out. Rooftop locations are so cryptic in Boston, so I’m happy to share that we used Pi Alley for this session.

After our time at Pi Alley parking garage, we headed to coffee at George Howell Coffee in the downtown area. Then, we walked to the North End, stopping at Bacco and Caio Roma along the way. We wrapped our long session in the little square being the Paul Revere Statue.
