If we had to describe Lilia’ and Sana’s LGBTQIA+ Danversport wedding in three words it would be beautiful, emotional, and above all them! It was truly the best day celebrating their love! We loved getting to see the diversity at their wedding, and it was so special to witness the Indian culture they incorporated into their special day. We photographed their wedding and also filmed their Super 8 wedding film as well!

Getting to Know the Couple

We first got to know Lilia and Sana at their intimate Cambridge City Hall elopement. They decided to elope at City Hall because of all the unsureness surrounding LGBTQIA+ rights across the nation last summer. They have loved life post-elopement and had been looking forward to their Danversport wedding with all of their friends and family. Their Danversport Wedding

Their Danversport wedding was so perfect for them as a couple! They handmade their wedding invitations and signage, which made for the perfect personal touch. Something really unique to their wedding was how they incorporated their friends into the wedding day. Their friend Connor was the ceremony officiant, and their friend Michelle did their makeup. Plus, the cake was made by a family friend who actually made Lilia’s mother’s wedding cake. It was a full-circle moment for them!

Sana was really looking forward to the reception and dancing, and we see why! It was such a fun time with their closest friends and family. We had the best time celebrating them and capturing all of the intimate moments.
