Today, we’re diving into the meaningful love story of Morgan and Glenn as we capture their intimate micro wedding at The Lexington in Cambridge. These two lovebirds have always been thoughtful and intentional in everything they do, and their wedding was no exception. We were absolutely thrilled when they chose us to photograph their special day, (especially after we had the best time shooting their engagement photos), and let us tell you, it was a day filled with magic, emotion, and memorable moments. Even though the wedding venue was in Cambridge we spent most of the day getting ready and strolling through town for pictures in the beautiful city of Charlestown . Charlestown boasts historic charm and breathtaking architecture, plus it’s one of Boston’s oldest towns.

The Unique Preparations

Let’s start with the unique preparations that Morgan and Glenn put into their wedding. Morgan, with her amazing sense of style, rocked a second-hand wedding dress that was an absolute knockout. And that’s not all! They made it a point to support local businesses, including the neighborhood florist for their beautiful floral arrangements. Seeing their intentional choices unfold before our eyes left us feeling incredibly moved and connected to their love story. They really thought of making a wedding that was intentional and meaningful not only for themselves but for the community as well. When they made a point of that when hiring us, because we were from the same community, it honestly made me tear up!

Battling Hurricane Lee

Now, let’s talk about Hurricane Lee. Yes, you read that right—Mother Nature decided to throw in an unexpected twist on their wedding day. As the expected hurricane loomed, plans were changing faster than the wind. The fear of the storm’s impact added an extra layer of tension, but here’s the good news, —the storm held out! The only inconvenience was the extreme wind during their first look, but it just made the day and photos even more memorable and adventurous. This is definitely a story they will tell over and over again about their wedding day!

A Memorable First Look

Oh, the first look. We waited in anticipation as Glenn’s excitement threatened to burst at the seams. He couldn’t even wait for Morgan to tap his shoulder before turning around—it was a moment filled with pure love and eagerness. And let’s not forget about the extreme wind that added a touch of whimsy to the moment. But what stole the show was Glenn’s sense of humor, even in the face of strong gusts. Laughter filled the air as they embraced, wind and all, creating a hilarious and unforgettable memory.

Tilly, The Dog Of Honor

Tilly, Tilly, Tilly, the adorable dog of honor. Morgan and Glenn wanted their furbaby to be a part of their special day, and boy, did they make it happen. They craftily repurposed scraps from Morgan’s mom’s wedding dress to create the most adorable attire for Tilly. Make sure to follow Tilly’s Insta for even more adorable pup pictures to love!

Morgan’s Baking Talents

Speaking of creativity, did we mention that Morgan’s got some serious baking talent? She made their wedding cake from scratch. Every bite was a decadent delight that showcased Morgan’s passion and skill. And her love for baking is shaping her dream of starting a cookie decorating business. After tasting the wedding cake I know her bakery dreams aren’t far off! They also had cigars for their guests with custom matches that were such a vibe!

Now, let’s dive into the beautiful images captured on film. Our trusty cameras were loaded with rolls of Kodak TMAX 3200, Kodak TMAX 400, Kodak Portra 800, and Kodak Portra 400 film. Morgan and Glenn’s wedding day was full of love, intentionality, and authenticity—and we think the photos we captured will tell their visual story beautifully.
