Micro Wedding Film Photographer

Micro weddings are kind of our favorite thing. Just enough people to make it feel like a party, but still small enough to feel like you. We’re a micro wedding photographer and filmmaker team working entirely on 35mm, Polaroids, Super 8, and 16mm. Whether you're planning a backyard dinner with your closest friends or stretching things across a whole weekend, we block off the day(s) just for you. Whatever that ends up looking like. These might be “smaller” weddings, but we shoot them like they’re the main event.

Micro Wedding Film  Photography

For couples planning a micro wedding in or around Boston, this is home for us, and we love the kind of weddings that feel personal down to the last detail. Our micro wedding photography packages are full-day by default, which means we’ll build a timeline that fits you, not the other way around. Think: walking through the neighborhood you fell in love in, a small ceremony in your best friend’s backyard, a meal at the restaurant where you had your first date.
  • 35–40 rolls of film + 6–8 Polaroid packs
  • Complimentary engagement session or weekday City Hall ceremony (our wedding gift to you)
  • Previews in 1 week, full gallery in 8.

Think a bonfire dinner with your closest friends in the Berkshires, vows by the water followed by lobster rolls in Portland, or a multi-course meal with twenty people packed into your favorite Brooklyn wine bar. If we can drive there and back in a day, we’re in. These micro wedding packages are built to bend, whatever your day looks like, we’ll be there with film loaded and ready to go.

Destination micro weddings are about more than just the ceremony, they’re about the experience of being somewhere new (or new to us lol) with your favorite people. We’ll be there for all of it: the welcome dinner under string lights, the hike you convinced everyone to do at sunrise, the last-minute speech practice in a hotel hallway. Our micro wedding packages are designed to cover the full experience, not just the vows.
For international weddings in places where we don’t speak the language (outside of English, Spanish, or French), we like to partner with a planner who knows the area, speaks the language, and is preferably local. It keeps things smooth and lets us focus on what we’re actually there to do: document your story on film, start to finish.

(featured)

These are real couples, REAL micro weddings, and every single frame was shot on film. From Cape Cod to San Diego, these are the stories we documented when our couples ditched the giant guest list and choose something more personal instead. What they all have in common? Intention, connection, and space to breathe. If you’re looking for a micro wedding photographer who will block off the full day for you, shoot it all on film, and document it like it actually matters, you’re in the right place.

FREQUENTLY
asked QUESTIONS

(for micro weddings)

HOW MANY GUESts can we have to be considered a micro wedding?

We define a micro wedding as having a range of 11 - 30 people present, including the couple (vendors excluded )

31+ people present, including the couple is considered a wedding by our standards,

how long on average, do micro weddings take you to document?

There’s no set rule here. We’ve documented micro-weddings that lasted 4 hours and others that stretched well past 14. We block off the full day for you, whatever that looks like. Whether it’s a quick ceremony and dinner or a multi-location celebration with portraits, toasts, and dancing, we’re there for the whole thing. And yes, the price stays the same regardless. No hourly stress, no surprise fees. Just your day, told start to finish, 100% on film

is your pricing firm?

Yep!

Do you shoot anything on digital for micro weddings?

No, however, we offer an option to have a digital only documentarian (photo only) added on if that helps put your mind at ease.

What if our micro wedding takes place over multiple days?

If you’re planning a multi-day celebration, say, a welcome dinner the night before or a post-wedding brunch, we’re always happy to document it. Just know we operate on a flat day rate, not hourly coverage. So if we’re shooting for more than one day, each day will be priced accordingly. Micro wedding photography packages are built around how much you want covered. Think of it as: one day = one rate, Two days = two rates, etc, Simple.

Hey look! It's us!!!! We had our own micro-wedding up in Vermont back in 2022, and honestly, zero regrets. Over three days, we got to be fully present with every single guest. No rushing, no crazy timelines pulling us away, and definitely no post-wedding FOMO. It gave us space to breathe, connect, and actually enjoy it all.

Let’s do the same for you, 100% on film.
Whether you're saying “I do” in your backyard, taking over a cozy restaurant in the city, or planning a multi-day retreat with your favorite people, we want to be there. We’re a film-only micro-wedding photographer and filmmaker team working with 35mm, medium format, Super 8, and 16mm.
